I hope the Cheshire East Council does have a clear transparent vision of the future for the next generations of people and animals who would wish to enjoy living and working in this environment which needs to be treated with respect.

Cheshire East does have a relatively old population - mostly because it is a good environment and the house prices are high. We do need more 'affordable' houses or flats to buy or rent in the centre of towns and villages for younger people.

Cheshire East doesn't feel very diverse. However, it does seem to be improving and offering opportunities for dufferent ethnic backgrounds.

With climate change comes the threat of water shortages. Also with extra houses comes the need for increased sewage treatment, more schools, doctors, dentists & hospitals. One also needs to protect our local heritage. Need tp protect greenbelt for food security and for mental health and welfare of local people. Provision of affordable sustainable transport. Good design of houses promoting aesthetically pleasing environments for people to live & work in. Sensitive building of new houses so as to not impact negatively on already established neighbourhoods.

The call for sites strategy worries me as some people may be motivated by short term profit rather than long term gain for all the communities.

The countryside is a valuable asset and should be treated with respect - not destroyed - therefore future generations can benefit from it.

Sites should not be released from the greenbelt. Affordable homes should be built in the centre of towns or villages utilising brownfield sites and empty houses. Young people on minimum or low wages could then afford to live there with easy access to shops and transport
