Please do NOT build on greenbelt or productive farmland or areas liable to flood. With unsustainable levels of building there will be water shortages, increased sewage & traffic gridlocks. Please safeguard wildlife & wildlife corridors - bird species such as Oystercatchers, Yellow Wagtails,Ringed & Little Ringed Plovers, Tree Sparrows,Skylarks & Lapwing would be under threat of extinction.

Stop closing local tips. Maybe have a larger tip for larger objects but keep local tips open. Again, make it profitable to do the right thing - reward people for recycling. Make it easy for everyone including trades people then there would be less fly tipping.

One has to be mindful of extracting minerals in a sustainable way so as not to damage the environment - make it profitable for the miners to the right thing and to respect the land.

Going forward, all new build should be well insulated, collect rainwater & have solar panels on their roofs in order to be sustainable.

It is often proven that people have more pride in a self build. Therefore provision should be made for a few self build properties within a village or town.

More low rise, one & two bedroom flats with balconies and a lift in them with connectivity to good transport, doctors and hospitals would be useful for an ageing population. However, do not put all old people in one place, young people in another place & middle aged people in another! It is proven that different age groups mixed together in a communal space or garden within walking distance works well for all communities. With activities for teenagers too. Green space including a wood or trees enhances well being.

'Affordable' homes in the right places definitely but it is very open to debate as to what is affordable. Many people in rural areas only earn a minimum wage therefore they would not be able to afford a 450k house in a proposed New Town in the country!

National decision making needs to be challenged by local councils regardless of party politics.

Please enable brownfield sites and empty houses to be regenerated before destroying the greenbelt and all the flora and fauna that already exists there for communities to benefit from.
