Make sure the Vision and Objectives are specific to Cheshire East.
Be Ambitious!
Make it locally distinctive.
Don’t use bland, generalised statements that could relate to Any Town / Any Borough / Any Place / Any Where.
Consider having one overarching Vision for the Borough, and then local visions for local towns/areas.

Key things to include in the Vision and Objectives include
Local economy
Needs of Ageing Population
Sustainability
Local transportation needs and improvements

The term Strategic Green Gap is a misnomer.
Some of them are not gaps, they will be large swathes of land.
A more appropriate term is needed in the Local Plan.
Suggest something like Other Open Land or Other Protected Open Land.

Spatial distribution of development also needs to take account of economic growth needs as well as housing demand.
