The next local plan must widen its land search to include land for schools sports community facilities. The previous plan weakness of focusing only on housing numbers and employment failed to deliver community infrastructure and is not sustainable development

Manchester Airport is more interested in inter regional connections to the NE and London with HS2 and building car parks on green belt/ fields in Cheshire East.
Bus travel is a major connectivity weakness in current plans

Tatton Park has received awards for its numbers of visitors but runs at a loss and fails to provide the cycle connections it is capable of so it can be considered a failure of CEC management and I would urge CEC to pay the NT an annual amount to take it over

Id like to see an ambition to deliver more community social infrastructure such as land for schools parks and sports facilities. The needs are already being identified in documents but being ignored. The needs assessment documents must be more actionable.
CEC planners should use the NPPF policies to insist on more open space development not ignore the open spaces objections and comments. Sometimes these are from their own tecnical officers.

The potential to.put houses on green belt should not be an exceptional circumstance unless it delivers exceptional additional community infrastructure
