I am concerned about the impact of further housing development on traffic and pedestrian safety around Bollington Parish Church, a Grade II listed building, and neighbouring Bollington Cross Primary School. Bollington Road already experiences significant traffic, noise, vibration and speeding, creating difficulties for pedestrians, church users, disabled and elderly visitors, families and funeral gatherings. Additional development could worsen these conditions and increase pressure on surrounding routes, including Moss Brow and Albert Road. I support providing affordable housing but ask that development funds improvements to pedestrian access and safe church parking, alongside heritage-sensitive redesign of Bollington Road to reflect its important community function.
