The transformation of the town centre should incude change of use, from retail to domicile, on many shops. Bespoke small scale apartment blocks, of affordable homes close to the town centre, designed for young professionals and 1st time buyers would create a more vibrant town centre and be a better utilisation of the partially unused shops.

Annexes and extensions to existing housing stock, frees up under-used homes, reduces fear of crime for older residents, increases value of housing stock and relieves pressure on social care budgets. A scheme that helped local residents achieve this would be unique, forward thinking and cost effective.

Gypsys and travellers have the right to live their lives in the same way their ancestors did.
A small number of small scale sites, with shower and toilet faciiities should be made available to rent on short weekly/monthly leases. These sites should include play areas, bbq facilities and mobile laundrette machines. All vehicles using the sites must be taxed.
Monies raised could contribute to cleaning and maintenance of sites

All new builds should be fit for future challenges.
Well insulated homes that do not drpend on fossil fuel heating systems. Solar panels and air con.
Buildings that provide for wildlife should be encouraged and gardens that are both accessible and attractive to native wildlife.
The planting of native hedgerows should be encouraged above the use of fencing that 'seals off' gardens.

Access to greenspace is essential for health and well being. It is desirable to have greenspace access for residents who don't drive, such as young and old people.
More promotion and guidance on acessing our greenspaces in CE would benefit residents.

Achievable non negotiable short and long term action plans are required.
Including peat protection and restoration.
Carbon emmision reduction.
Businesses encouraged to recycle their waste/surplus, like supermarkets do with food.
