How can residents who have no access to online sites even be aware of this consulation not to mention how they are suppose to respond? Time scale is very poor being too short and over the summer holiday period.

Meaningful early engagement - Only found out via a neighbour who is on face book about the scoping consultation / call for sites. Comunication has been extremely poor with many residents unaware of the consulation and even the landowners of the highlighted sites unaware that they have been included.
The area of Church Lawton and the highlighted sites are green belt which is farmed. There is also protected Toads who use the fields and other wildlife. Once farmland is built on it cannot be replaced, losing food security, causing additional climate change with regards to additional emissions.

Why can't the documents be available at libraries, vilage community buildings and churches as not everybody would go online, or have access to online sites or have transport to the council offices. How are you going to inform residents of the fact that the publication is available to read?

Building on the greenbelt seems a backward step, especially when Alsager have had several large warehouses have been built over two years ago and remain empty. Brownfield sites should be used leaving the greenbelt untouched for farmland and wildlife. We live in a vilage not a town, there is no primary school, high school, doctors, dentists, in Church Lawton. Alsager is the closest town which is already over developed. Supporting sustainable transport - Cheshire East have just scraped the school bus for the high school resulting in the potential of parents having to drive their children to school.

The area has over the years been developed leaving only the greenbelt to be farmed, which enjoyed by wildlife, enjoyed by residents and reduces the amount of rainwater run off. Local towns offer the infrasture already so why build on the greenbelt? The roads in the area are terrible and should be repaired before new roads are constructed over the unrepalceable greenbelt. Traffic is already heavey especially when the M6 is closed.

Why have Cheshire East not published this in the local newspapers, sending residents information via the post, same as the solar panel sales pitch? There has been no publication for residents which has been accesable without inside knowledge, even Chuch Lawton Parish Council were not made aware until August! How are you planning on informing residents and understanding their needs and goals for the area they live in?

Consulataion with the community has to be open to all not to the few who would be contantly looking at the Cheshire East website. The changes to the Goverment plans does this include destroying the greenbelt, food security, adding to the causes of climate change, upseting the local population by in forcing unnecessary over developement of the green belt?

Before new homes are built on greenbelt are the govement going to build and fund schools, transport to schools, doctors, dentists, waterteatment, food security ( not sure where if the fields are built over), provide wildlife a safe harbour, create new land for residents to enjoy excerising in green open space (not sure if even the goverment can create new land)? The amount of new homes the goverment are expecting to be built in Cheshire East will create a mass concrete landscape, Congleton is already shocking.

The amount of Gypsies sites are already extensive in Cheshire East, surely food securtiy , followed by saving the greenbelt, preventing harm to wildlife, preventing additional climate change and not over subscribing the local infrastructure being all the same reasons for not building new homes should be prioritzed first?

There is no railway station in Church Lawton, there is little point in building houses on the greenbelt if then we cannot grow the food we need to feed the population. Future generations will curse the desision to destroy the green belt. Villages are already have been over developed such as Alsager which has become a town, Sandbach and especially Congleton has become a sprawal in your own words. Unless this is halted all villages and towns will merge into a concrete tarmac sprawl.
