We need a clear definition of what is meant by affordable homes. Housing at a 20% discount on market rate is still not affordable to most 1st-time buyers. If the ambition is to help 1st-time buyers let's be clear about it, put a sensible price cap on them and ensure developers really deliver 40% affordable housing (or more).
