You mention farming jobs but if you focus on using all the greenbelt for development there won't be any farming jobs left - what is your proposal for them? What jobs do you see them doing if not farming? You list a number of heritage sites and places to visit yet if you develop all around them they will lose that purpose.

Please explain why having sparsely populated areas is a bad thing? Some people like living in a rural location and if the council just provided better bus services there would be more options for people to leave their village if they wanted to but not everywhere needs to be busy and heavily populated.

What policies will be put in place to ensure that local plans from small villages will be taken into account when the council try and develop these areas with no infrastructure and facilities. When looking at local plans and developments, the whole area and all proposals need to be considered, not just each individual site. Consideration to brownfield sites, saving the environment and wildlife need to be included at the top.

I object to green field sites within the Green Belt in Chelford being allocated as grey belt land. The erosion of Green Belt within the Parish, through the previous allocation of safeguarded land, has already had a significant impact upon the Parish, including local services and amenities. If further development happens the local areas will sprawl into each other.

Villages should be protected from inappropriate development which causes gaps between individual communities to be eroded. Focus should be on larger towns.

Housing needs for the area you intend to develop should be looked at not just fulfilling a quota from the government. As it stands, Chelford has many houses for sale on the two most estates and there is no proof we have a housing need and in the past, social housing has also not been successful. Green Belt land should not be released for development to meet housing targets or to provide affordable housing unless there is compelling evidence of local need within the relevant community.

The environment and local wildlife must be a priority and the council should do anything to retain it.
