This information that leads up to this whole consultation is so vast and bewildering that the average person cannot take it all in, particularly in the time frame up to the filing deadline.
One could say that it is a PR stunt.

Anything that is labelled "National" cannot, by its name, begin to address the needs of local demands and requirements.
A blanket approach will just lead to failure.

Cheshire East's lower population density is because a large portion of it comprises valuable agricultural land that helps keep the UK's food supplies secure.
Increasing the population density by using farmland for development is not sustainable.

With Manchester Airport on the doorstep of Mobberley and Knutsford, there is no direct transport link there unless by car. Without a car, you would be unable to take a job at the airport, let alone take a flight from there.

Whilst the businesses etc. in CE do benefit from tourism, the openness and the beauty of its landscape should be preserved and should not be used for housing.

The rural areas in open agricultural land are vital to maintaining the diversity and the unique character of CE. Urbanisation across the whole borough needs to take into account that open countryside is developed only to support agriculture.

Green Belt must be protected to maintain food security, wildlife and its habitats and be accessible for people to enjoy it. If land is farmed it must be protected at all costs.

When the reclassification of Green Belt land to Grey Belt land takes place, is this going to take place behind closed doors at CE's offices and then sprung on communities with no recourse or is the reclassification going to go through some form of notification of change and a method for objecting to it?

In Cheshire East Council’s Mobberley Settlement Report published in August 2020, pages 49 to 53 contain a summary of the value of the “Land off Ryecroft Lane” towards the Five Principles of Green Belt. The report states that the “Land off Ryecroft Lane” makes a MAJOR CONTRIBUTION to providing an ESSENTIAL gap of less than 700 metres between Mobberley and Knutsford and development of it would SIGNIFICANTLY reduce the actual and perceived gap between the settlements.
However, this piece of land has been included as a site submission on CE's Local Plan Housing and Development. Why is it being considered?

What is the definition of a Local Service Centre?
Although Mobberley has a few small shops, most of its residents travel to Knutsford for their day to day needs.
