6.31 If elected members see their primary role as representing their wards they are unlikely to support a major development in their back yard however much it would be for the good of Cheshire East, the Combined Authority or the country. I don't have any answers but would suggest at the very least we need to know that our elected representatives are fully appraised of the Climate and Emergency Crisis. I hope that without exception elected members view the National Emergency Briefings https://www.nebriefing.org/expert-briefings prior to engaging on local plan development.

To state the obvious it says Plan Programme and Timeline but there is no timeline. When is that likely to be available? Good Luck.
