I live in Chelford beyond the railway towards the roundabout.
We have a septic tank, as do most of the other houses and businesses this side of the railway line.
Where is all the sewage going to go from the new houses? The drains get blocked and I am not sure if the sewage farm at Warford is big enough to take sewage from another 100 houses with more rain in the future that will also add to the amount of ground water to process.
The drain at the Shell garage has been broken for years but has not been repaired due to the potential traffic impact of the roundabout and road work lights that would be needed. If that is work that is needed but has been paus d due to the traffic impact, what traffic impact would a building site to support the infrastructure of building 100 houses at this part of the village?
They electricity has just become stable after years of constant power cuts. This was impacted with the Dixon Drive and Farmers market new builds and took time to settle, is the power going to remain stable with additional houses and their power needs being added to the network.
I object to further houses with a fear that the infrastructure of power, sewage and water being at risk of major interruption and given this is a basic need for our community to have reliable basic utilities.
