I live near Ashley and use the road from Hale to Mobberley on a daily basis, through the village on a bicycle or by car. It is part of a national cycle route and It is already way too busy. I cannot believe that Tatton Estate think it would be a good idea to add hundreds (or thousands) of vehicles extra to that road every single day. I am also appalled by the potential loss of high quality farm land and open green belt space, where we really do need to preserve it. I do not believe that the proximity of Ashley station, with its occasional train service to Chester and Altrincham will do anything to reduce the traffic.
