Dear planning team,
I am a resident in Hale and having reviewed the plans for a very large housing development in Ashley I have grave concerns for the impact this would have on the local environment and infrastructure, and would like to state my objection.
Ashley is local an area of beauty served by few narrow country roads which in many places could not be enlarged to take what would be up to 22,000 extra cars. The local water cleaning and sewage system is already overwhelmed, with waste water being dumped into the local river, and adding more housing here would compound the problem. The space is vital to Hale, Altrincham, Mobberley, Knutsford and Wilmslow and to the local nature that can reside in this area because of the surrounding urbanisation. There is not enough school space to support this development in any of the surrounding towns and the local hospitals are entirely overrun. GP practices are full and unable to employ more GPs due to terrible funding.
