I object to further development in Mobberley because it would result in the loss of Green Belt and agricultural land, harming wildlife and the village’s rural character. I believe brownfield sites should be prioritised instead. Existing infrastructure is already under significant pressure, including the primary school, roads and medical services. As a Town Lane resident, I am particularly concerned about increased traffic, road safety, noise and pollution, as the road is already heavily used and additional construction and residential traffic would worsen conditions. I believe Mobberley has limited capacity for further housing and ask that its Green Belt remains protected from development.

I would like to comment as follows in respect of the above in respect of the Mobberley sites proposed.
1. This is going to result in a huge loss of greenbelt/agricultural land affecting wildlife and effectively destroying the beauty of Mobberley. There are plenty of brownfield sites that should be considered before ripping up greenbelt land. Mobberley is a VILLAGE with very limited capacity
2. The current infrastructure will simply not accommodate additional housing . The primary school is at capacity and the roads are already in a shocking state with the current volume of traffic. Cheshire East cannot maintain the roads as they are- let alone with the strain additional housing will create. Additional housing will cripple the already stretched infrastructure.
3. Town Lane is already a very hazardous road. The recent years have already seen a huge increase in traffic. We are already experiencing a huge amount of both pollution and noise. As a resident of Town Lane, our house physically rattles at times - especially when trucks go past and the huge disruption both the construction of the houses in addition to the additional residents once the development is complete, will simply not be viable. The roads simply cannot handle further traffic and is already at breaking point.
4. the medical centres are also at capacity - it's almost impossible to get to see a doctor now let alone with additional residents to serve
Mobberley is a village and by its very nature is unable to support additional housing. If development in Mobberley goes ahead it will simply be due to greedy developers getting their own way and once the greenbelt has gone, it will be gone forever. Please do not allow development in Mobberley. The village came out in full force last time and won and we are more than willing to do this again. Please look at the brownfield sites before destroying what makes Cheshire so beautiful- the greenbelt land. The country is in an appalling state as it is - we don't need to destroy what beauty is actually left of this country.
