Empty properties and council buildings need to be redeveloped before building on green belt which is a massive mistake.
The big builders put hundreds of houses up poorly built. They don’t finish sites or roadways agreed in the plan.
Councils allow the build and no one absolutely no one stops them or chastises them to complete agreed details.

The junction 17 round about is a perfect example of that.

There is still a large metal plate over some ground near that build to this day, which smells bad and those houses are up for sale into hundreds of thousands of pounds ???

I live in a house that has the wrong size pipe work and plastic for central heating, destroying all the radiators from the inside. It has absolutely no wall insulation even though when it was built it was a legal requirement ??? Again some of theses house are hundreds of thousands of pounds. Some have put their own wall insulation in and this is causing problems now.

These are some examples of cookie cutter houses that are not fit for purpose built by these builders.

Think cladding on blocks of flats, how immoral was that and still ongoing for thousands of people ?

If the council is not prepared to stand up for ordinary people and follow through on agreed local plans to completion. Control big builders and not let them run rough shod, just for the money, then no don’t build any more very expensive unaffordable badly built houses.
