The wording should not imply that online responses are preferable because they are more efficient for the Council. Email and postal responses must be given equal consideration. Given the complexity of the consultation, residents should also be provided with clear guidance and support on how to identify the relevant issue and structure their response, without requiring specialist planning knowledge.
