I am not sure what a 'principal town' consists of and a link to this would have been good.

The protection of villages in Cheshire East so they don't become part of urban sprawl is essential to protect the feeling of our beautiful area.

Protection of our countryside is key for our people to maintain access to these essential spaces for recreational activities eg Teggs Nose country park and surrounding countryside needs to be protected as it acts as an escape for many. Often this countryside acts as a barrier between villages and towns and should be protected.

Good housing suitable for older people would help free up some of the larger homes for families.

Housing for older people is very much needed as our population ages. What would be great is if this could be repurposed in later years when the population makeup may change eg more young people. Then flats/bungalows could be repurposed easily.

Where possible this seems a great idea. The planning permission just given to the farm at the end of Jarman in Sutton is a great example of using some grey belt land for this purpose.

Many shops in Macclesfield are empty, the ability to drive into Macclesfield and park free of charge for 45 mins (like in Prestbury) would encourage more people to pop into the town to purchase things like they do at the site on the Silk Road eg M&S.

I am pleased to see these point, this is so important to people's physical and mental health as well as protecting the environment from flooding, habitat loss for animals etc It has been heartbreaking to see developers cutting down trees and established hedges just to put in new ones that will take 30 years to get to the same standard.

I have lived in Macclesfield for many years and the level of noise pollution from the airport is growing every year to the point it is now very disruptive. People living in Knutsford are badly affected by this but a balance needs to be struck as we also need the airport to bring investment into the area.
