4.5: Careful consideration must be given to the availability of transport links when determining development locations. Development must not be promoted in rural communities with no sustainable public transport links.

5.29: The cumulative effect of agricultural development should be considered. Large modern agricultural buildings can have combined effects on landscape, drainage, access and nearby homes. Future policies should also recognise the possible relationship between agricultural buildings and later diversification or conversion.

5.49: Brownfield sites should be prioritised for the delivery of small and medium sized sites. Use of Green Belt land to meet these arbitrary targets cannot be supported.
