The council should focus on the available brown field sites in and around Crewe and other main towns. There are plenty of small local sites in and around the main towns. They just need to be identified and owners of the land be encouraged to release the land for development.

The council is invited to lead the way by adopting new policies which reduce each resident’s daily water useage. Water Butts for domestic householders and farmers can do so much more to harvest water.

This party of the plan feels self serving and full of platitudes, yet there is no evidence provided to explain how the intention to allow the development of both grey and green belt land will sit with the intent to improve biodiversity which the council will know is shameful with something the worst nature recovery statistics in Europe.
