I think the protection of green belt land should be prioritise. And the use of grey land and existing developed land be used foremost.

Whist there is a need for more houses, the correct type in the most appropriate area should be highly considered. With affordability prioritise. Allowing private investor's permission to build what they want & where they want whist only creating very few required properties doesn't gain any support from local communities.

Using brown field site's should always of been prioritised. The use of any green belt not considered, until all exsisting brown or greyland has been completely utilised.

How many more super sized industrial estates does the area need. Driving around the local area quickly shows how many advertising boards are up offering empty industrial space.

The environmental assessment can not be taken lightly. It can not be rushed into a couple of months. It needs assessing through a full 12 month period for a least 2 to 3 years to gather a clear account of what is happening. The impact of current climate changes, wildlife migration and agricultural changes.

By destroying Green belt land you are removing the characteristics of your own Borough. Gone will be all the small settlements & villages being replaced by extensive housing estates or industrial units. Soon it will be Greater Manchester that's saying "Potteries conurbations, with the Peak District National Park to the east."

Cheshire east needs to hold onto all this heritage. Not destroy it by building as much as they can on it. Once it's gone it's gone for good and future generations will look back at this and question why.

East cheshire won't have many true rural areas left if they continue to pursue the green belt for houses policy of the present government

Cheshire east probably has an older population because peaple who have worked hard all there life might want to & can afford to move to a more quieter lifestyle within a rural community.
