This currently does not seem to be the case with greenbelt land being prioritised by developers. How will the plan direct developers to show that they have in the first instance considered brownfield land

What critieria will be used to identify suitable locations for these that do no impact on the largely rural nature of the county.
Data centres place high demands on water and energy- in the current situation of clear signs of global warming and the national picture with regard to the shortage of water and insecurities in national energy supply how will these factors be taken into account

As lack of infrastructure is a major factor in identifying the impact of future development this should form a major supporting plan.
Also much of recent development has resulted in the loss of best agricultural land. With current global insecurities and global warming it is imperative that agricultural land is retained. As Cheshire has some of the higher grade agricultural land in the UK a supplementary plan should detail how will this be protected.

It is inappropriate to compare Cheshire East with other areas as this is a largely rural county- Such counties make invaluable contribution to the supply of food- this should not devalue the contribution vis a vis other more industrial parts of the country

All efforts need to be made to accelerate the development of the plan as by 2029 a large amount of land that would normally be protected by local plans and policies will have been released for development- in addition without the necessary infrastructure. What work has been done to determine how this deadline can be accelerated?

Key elements of the infrastructure needed to support the planned housing- what, where and when, sources of funding, third party support (e.g Water and power companies, National highways, NHS etc.
Vision should contain measures around the future sustainability of the plan and the role of the county in the overall UK vision regarding this. Measurable outcomes should relate to this- e.g maintenance of biodiversity and best agricultural land

Initial growth needs to be focused on areas where sufficient infrastructure already exists as this will take time to get in place in particular obtaining funding and third party agreements to support.
