I object to the proposed allocation of the 12 Ashley sites, totalling 291.03 hectares. I consider the development unsuitable and undeliverable due to its Green Belt location, loss of productive agricultural land and impact on Ashley’s rural character. I am concerned about inadequate roads, public transport, drainage, utilities and local services, alongside increased traffic and flood risk. Development would also harm valued landscapes, wildlife habitats affecting nocturnal animals in particular, listed buildings. I consider the scale of growth inappropriate for Ashley’s position within the settlement hierarchy. I also question the accuracy of the submitted site boundaries and request the sites are excluded.
