We would like to object to the proposal to build 11,000 new houses in Ashley. Our reasons are as follows:

1, The erosion of the Green Belt. The national policy is for Grey/Brown land to be used. The policy is not to use Green Belt land.
2, The loss of valuable farmland.
3, Ashey is a small, rural parish with extremely limited public transport infrastructure or facilities.
4, The road network around Ashley is totally inadequate to cope with the traffic needed to construct the housing and the extra traffic generated by the proposed increase in population of 44,000 (assuming 4 per household).
