New development behind Benbrook Way.
1. Significant increase in traffic on A536 from Congleton new homes. Access onto A536 from development potential safety issue.
2. Poor pedestrian /cyclist connectivity with Congleton/Macclesfield.
3. Limited bus connectivity to railway station
4. Safety/logistic issues around potential access into village. Primary school traffic creates a significant bottleneck. Residents already have problems exiting village at school drop off time.
5. Village roads/junctions unable to safely cope with significant increase of traffic.
6. Site designated for Peak Cluster Ltd pipeline. Compensation issues if planning granted.
7. Perhaps Alderley Edge with excellent road system is more appropriate!
