I live in the linear rural hamlet of Haughton and I am interested in the local plan. I think its important than new housing goes where there are existing main supplies re energy and sewerage, existing comprehensive public transport, communal facilities eg schools, doctors, dentists with capacity to take on new users and a village hall and local shops. Also safe roads. Unfortunately these do not exist in our parish.
