I live in Pott Shrigley and I care deeply about the future of this area.
It is critical that the new Local Plan engages with local communities and that communities are given plenty of time to partake in order that this consultation captures all the issues that require careful investigation and consideration.
In summary, the Plan must do all it can to protect the environment so needs to focus on utilising EVERY brownfield site first. It also needs to PROVE that any proposed future development will have all the necessary infrastructure in place (roads, public transport, utilise, healthcare facilities, schools).
