I object to the development of Ashley Garden Village and the surrounding area. This would involve the loss of valuable Green Belt which prevents urban sprawl and maintains open countryside. It also provides environmental benefits for wildlife and greenspace for residents and walkers. Footpaths make this area publicly accessible and the openness of the views and landscape character is much appreciated. The scale of the suggested development is out of keeping with the existing scale and character of the village and surrounding area. Flocks of field fare and many other birds rest in the fields.
