Housing growth should only occur where roads, schools, healthcare and public transport are available or can be realistically provided.
Infrastructure must be provided alongside development and not afterwards.
It is imperative that additional infrastructure is provided for new developments. Sadly, this has not occurred in the past resulting in substantially longer waiting times to access much needed healthcare facilities.

Cheshire East Council must be more aggressive in prioritising brownfield sites to protect our cherished Green Belt and Open Countryside.
As a policy, Cheshire East must urge the Government to provide funding so that Cheshire East has the ability to proactively seek out brownfield sites and be given the necessary funding to acquire a sufficient number of brownfield sites to obtain the crucial five year land supply to prevent planning decisions being tilted in favour of developers.

As stated above, Cheshire East must be more aggressive in seeking out brownfield sites and be much more proactive in obtaining Government funding to acquire brownfield sites to obtain a five year land supply and thereby protect our cherished Green Belt and Open Countryside from development
