We object to the proposed Local Plan in the strongest possible terms. The plan as presented would fundamentally and permanently change Cheshire East for the worse, specifically the developments related to Sandbach would:

- Fundamentally change the character of Sandbach as a standalone market town, creating a soulless urban sprawl to Middlewich
- Compound already severe traffic congestion issues e.g. A533 and through Old Mill Rd
- Overwhelm local resources (GP, schools) which are already at capacity
- Result in loss of high grade agricultural land (e.g, proposed sites in Elworth)

Note Elworth site has archaeological importance (Roman Road)
