I believe Haughton’s future needs to be shaped by what the area can realistically and sustainably accommodate. Its working farms, open countryside and scattered homes are fundamental to its identity. Any proposals for growth should therefore be modest, well evidenced and matched to the capacity of local roads, services and infrastructure
