I am a councillor for Hale.
We have been advised that the plan for homes on the Tatton estates will not amount to the 11,000 that was proposed in 2024. That it is now approx 1000. However, all areas are being considered so how can we have confidence that it will not amount to 11,000?
This impact would be loss of countryside, damage to the Bollin River area, loss of separation between Ashley and Hale. There is also potential impact on Trafford infrastructure due to it's proximity that needs to be taken into account. eg schools, health services, road congestion..
