Local plan scoping consultation

There has been considerable housing development in the village over the last few years the infrastructure cannot cope with the houses we have now. Regular occasions of low water pressure, infrequent trains and a limited bus service. It is a village surrounded by agricultural land which is rapidly deminishing across the County. The traffic through the village is considerable and we already have huge issues with people speeding, without adding further cars into the equation. The brownfield sites have now been built on in Chelford, surely Macclesfield and other towns have areas that should be considered ahead of building on agricultural land that we will be needing if we are to reduce our reliance on food imports. Chelford is a village and it would be wonderful if it could stay that way
