I strongly object to the proposed 11,000 homes at Ashley. Development on this extraordinary scale would overwhelm and effectively replace the existing village.

Even with significant new infrastructure within the development, its external connectivity would remain fundamentally constrained. Ashley station has neither the frequency nor capacity to serve a new town of this size, while the surrounding road network consists predominantly of narrow rural roads unsuitable for the resulting volume of traffic.

Development on this scale should be directed towards sustainable locations with established transport and infrastructure, rather than Green Belt surrounding a small rural village.
