Given the recent change in planning by the current government the approvals process needs to be considered undemocratic as the rights of councillors no longer represent the electorate in the call in process. The numbers of houses demanded by the current govenment also loads a planning process that, by custom and practice has achieved housing requirements for C.E. The current overloading takes and makes no provision for the increase in support services to local communities, for NHS, Travel or other infrastruccture needs.
