It is really important that we provide a range of accommodation for older people. At the moment options are strictly limited, so many older people are staying in family homes which really need to be freed up for young families.

In Knutsford, recent developments have occurred where land has been relatively easy to develop (e.g. Crown land), which is not always in the best interests of existing or new residents. It has put a strain on local services such as healthcare, education and transport networks, and adversely affects the character of the town. It is essential that you seriously consider what the community can support, and where, and plan accordingly.
