The choice of Adlington as a possible site is inappropriate for the type of housing which be afforded - ie houses in the £150k to £250k region. Very small houses Command high prices in this area which will not therefore affordable by key workers, or first time buyers for example.

You are asking technical questions here which the average resident is nit equipped to answer.
Suffice it to say, following the retention of Mannion and his co-conspirator after the dishonest representations made ("it was badly worded" changed to "someone else signed it") i don't trust the council leaders or the council as a whole.

My suspicion is that we are still reading the "benefits" of the disgraceful series of events which opened the door to Belport and the NTTF. The farmers and the green belt must be protected. Adlington is the first green space this side of Piccadilly station. It should not be merged into Greater Manchester. Food security is vitally important. This proposal is just inappropriate from whichever angle it is viewed.

Don't waste your time and money on trying to do much development in Adlington. The well-founded and well-articulated arguments put forward in fierce rebuttal of the NTTF will be repeated.

With Mannion, his co-conspirator, and the former Chair (?) of Homes England involved here, you will understand my scepticism, and lack of trust here. When did we vote to be part of Cheshire and Warrington? This is not an elected body and we should not be put in this position totally undemocratic. I'm disgusted.

All this sounds very Sir Humphrey. I dont believe you can expectvus to comment on this. The council is elected to look at whatbis in our best interests but sadly I have no longer any trust. This "consultation" is a farce.

There is plenty of housing for highly paid staff in Cheshire East. If there is a shortage, it is for truly affordable housing. Such housing should be built around existing towns not destroying gren belt.
