I strongly oppose the proposed 11,000 homes in Ashley. It is simply far too much development for a small, idyllic Cheshire village. Ashley does not have the roads, public transport or infrastructure to cope with such a huge expansion. It would destroy precious Green Belt and farmland, increase traffic and congestion, and permanently change the character of the village and surrounding countryside. This beautiful rural area should not be sacrificed for an urban-scale development that clearly belongs elsewhere.
