I object to this plan for many reasons including.
The destruction of the green belt especially the woodlands.
It is FAR too many houses - there are not enough local schools, doctors, dentists, etc as it is.
There is hardly any way to get anywhere from that development without 'rat running' though residential areas.

In regards to the Ashley Plan.
I want to object to the plan.
There are FAR too many houses being added in one go there.
My biggest issue is the destruction of the green belt especially the woodlands - the banks of the river and those woodlands present habitat that is not found in the urban areas to the north nor the agricultural and park lands to the south.
Even within cycling distance of this point there are much better places to put this number of houses.
My 2nd biggest issue is the infrastucture. If you live there how are you going to get anywhere. To get to the motorway at Bowdon or Hale Barnes you will have to 'rat run' through residentail housing estates. Going S there is nothing but small country lanes. The train station at Ashley has hardley any services to anywhere and no parking.
Even for cyclists the M56 and A556 present a difficult and somewhat dangerous barrier.
