I am disappointed to see that large areas of the Adlington Estate have been put forward in the local plan. The land is green belt and does not meet any of the grey belt definitions. The local roads cant take any more traffic, the loss of farm land and the affect on nature would be irreversible. Brown field sites should be the priority. We need the right houses in the right areas. It is important that Manchester does not merge with Macclesfield in a concrete corridor.
