Noting the massive extent of this proposal for Ashley, with threats to: Green Belt land; designated "best and most versatile" agricultural land; and heritage assets, my wife and I feel the scheme should be DRASTICALLY reduced in size. In all these cases there are legal provisions for protection, and it appears these would be violated. We are fearful that infrastructure and facilities: rail and road transport, schools, medical facilities, etc would not be adequately considered. The impact of such a large scheme would be detrimental to the quality of life in Bowdon, Hale and Hale Barns, especially regarding traffic congestion.
