Local plan scoping consultation

Dear sir/Madam

I strongly object to the 291-hectare site proposed around Ashley. This village has no services, no
buses and a station with only one train an hour, so it is absurd to claim it is well connected.
Every access road crosses a narrow bridge, making large-scale development completely
unworkable.

The land is protected Green Belt and valuable farmland, and the area includes
sensitive landscapes, wildlife habitats and heritage settings that would be irreversibly damaged.
This proposal is wholly inappropriate and must be removed from the Local Plan immediately.
