Local plan scoping consultation

We hereby want to voice my extreme concern about the planning of new housing on our precious greenbelt land.
Wherever one goes and looks in Cheshire East housing is popping up like mushrooms. Brick boxes all the same size and look. Congleton and Macclesfield in particular. Poynton too, it will not be long before we will be attached to each other every which way.
Once built on, our beautiful countryside, there will be no more made. Countryside is much needed for our wellbeing, our mental health, now more so than ever. Queues at places like Macclesfield forest prove how much it is needed.
Doctors already are unable to cope, appointments are very hard to get. Hospital appointment have huge waiting lists.
Roads are full, traffic jams are a daily occurrence.
Tankers having to fill up our water system.
Pollution in our rivers.
The council is not coping with what we already have. Just look at our streets, weeds growing out of our verges. Waste colllection seems a huge problem More like a third world country. Oh and potholes!
Yes, maybe housing is needed but look at brownfields, factories like Albion Mill, already with planning permission, first.
Many more reasons, schools, parking sewage..
We, therefore, want to voice our concern strongly. We want our greenbelt protected for our children and grandchildren’s future. Once gone there will be no more.
