I strongly object to the proposed development in the Village of Ashley. The development would result in the loss of valuable farming land and further urbanise the surrounding countryside. There are already concerns regarding flooding in the fields, and additional development and drainage could exacerbate this. Increased housing would inevitably bring additional traffic onto our rural roads. I am also concerned that the development would negatively affect the value and amenity of my properties, as well as having a detrimental impact on my business and its operation within the village.
