I’m objecting because this 291-hectare proposal would destroy the character of Ashley and the surrounding green belt. This is beautiful Green Belt countryside and productive farmland, includes wildlife, historic buildings and peaceful landscapes. All the local areas would be impacted by the change of a much loved piece of green belt into a housing estate. It would fundamentally change the nature of the area, the local communities and local services.
