I object to the proposed development of green belt land around Ashley because of the severe impact on the environment with an increased risk of flooding , loss of valuable and productive farm land which will contribute to the impact on our national food security, inadequate infrastructure to support a housing development, in particular lack of public transport with one train per hour through Ashley, a severe strain on utilities, lack of schools, doctor’s surgeries and shops etc. There would also be a detrimental impact on the ecology of the area such as ancient woodlands and documented habitats.
