Housing development in or around Church Minshull would completely overwhelm local facilities - a church, a pub and a village hall - and lead to even further deterioration of the roadways through the village. There are already traffic calming measures on each road into / out of the village and the number of HGVs passing through the village daily is getting out of hand. Indeed, there is currently talk of having a 20 mile per hour speed limit imposed to limit damage to the roadways by excessive amounts of traffic.
