I object to the allocation of land in Mobberley and the surrounding area for housing, and economy development because of the significant harm it would cause to the village’s character, setting and local identity.

The sites form an important part of the rural setting that distinguishes the village from the surrounding urban areas. The development would also result in the loss of open countryside, diminishing the attractive rural environment currently enjoyed by residents. The cumulative effect would be a fundamental change to the character and appearance of the village and a significant erosion of its distinctiveness and local identity.
