I am objecting to the 291-hectare land submitted around Ashley.

The village has no services, no buses and a station with one train per hour. The area is constrained by the M56, airport and Tatton Park and all existing roads into the village cross old narrow bridges. Any significant development would create serious congestion and safety problems. It is impossible to call Ashley “well connected”

Additionally, the land is Green Belt, productive farmland, containing sensitive landscapes, wildlife habitats and listed buildings that would be seriously compromised.

This site is completely unsuitable and should be removed from consideration.
