The scale of this development would have a significant impact on the character of Mobberley and would fundamentally change it from the village we know today. The existing infrastructure, including roads, drainage and water services, is not equipped to cope with development on this scale. Local amenities and services would also face additional pressure.

There would also be a considerable impact on the surrounding countryside and natural wildlife. Once this land and habitat are lost, they cannot be replaced. Mobberley’s rural setting, wildlife and strong village feel are what make it such a special place, and these should be protected.
